Paula Foley Tillen
Paula Foley Tillen has worked as a professional musician in the Milwaukee area for the past 31 years. She has worked as a private piano instructor since 1974, has provided musical direction for many area theatre companies, and is in much demand as a pianist, vocal coach, and accompanist. For eleven years she served as musical director for ComedySportz of Milwaukee. Paula is an adjunct faculty member at Pius XI High School, serving as director of the women’s chamber choir, staff accompanist, and piano instructor, serves as director of choirs at Mount Zion Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, and maintains a private piano studio of about 25 students. In October of 2006 she did a recital tour of Norway and Denmark with mezzo soprano Jillian Hansen Bruss which featured the world premiere of her song cycle, “When Thou Commandest Me to Sing”, based on the poetry of Rabindranath Tagore. |
